Communicate Freely is a locally owned and operated telecommunications service provider, based in Port Perry, Ontario. We operate our own fibre optic network in order to provide the best digital services to our community. Where the large Incumbents have ignored the needs of rural communities, we are building out our all-fibre network to fill this gap. With service currently available in Downtown Port Perry, funding through the Connecting Canadians program has enabled us to begin construction to Scugog Island.

In addition to local Internet services, Communicate Freely also provides a hosted Business Telephone System to customers within and outside our fibre footprint.

Communicate Freely operates the "Port Perry WiFi" and "CFNET Secure" wireless networks in Downtown Port Perry. The free WiFi network is used by thousands of visitors to Scugog annualy, and the pre-paid network provides a low-cost Internet option.

The downtown BIA music system utilizes our fibre optic network to deliver audio and announcements throughout the downtown area both for events, as well as for everyday listening.
